Independent Delivery Courier

Responsibilities:

• Pick up items from designated locations and deliver them to specified addresses.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, or customers via phone or delivery apps.
• Maintain delivery logs and obtain proof of delivery, such as signatures or photos.
• Handle packages with care and maintain confidentiality with sensitive documents or materials.
• Use GPS or mobile apps to plan efficient delivery routes.
• Report any issues, delays, or accidents to the appropriate party.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proof of insurance and any required permits or registrations.
• Ability to lift and carry packages 
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Smartphone with GPS/navigation capability and necessary delivery apps installed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a logistics role.
• Knowledge of local areas and traffic patterns.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
