Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Setting up the mise en place, and preparing the dining space prior to service.
- Making sure service tools and equipment are properly cleaned after every use, and maintained in continuous, excellent working order.
- Handling reservations and taking food orders.
- Welcoming and greeting guests, leading them to their table and ensuring that they are comfortable.
- Serving food and drinks, and clearing the table afterwards.
- Visiting tables to check on guests.
- Making sure guests have an excellent dining experience.
- Advising on food and wine pairing.
- Following position-specific task sheets and schedules.
Requirements:
- Friendly, outgoing and personable.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating an excellent guest experience.
- Excellent dining etiquette and protocol.
- Customer focused with a hands-on, can-do, nothing-is-too-much attitude to work.
- Meticulous and highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Keen to excel.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Computer literate.
- Possess a good command of the English language.
- Can read and write one of the main indigenous languages in Nigeria: Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000
