Job Summary

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our team. The Quality Control Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship before they are released to the market.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality control checks on ready-to-wear garments to ensure that they meet production standards and quality specifications.
  • Inspect materials, stitches, embellishments, and overall garment construction to identify any defects or discrepancies.
  • Ensure that RTW garments adhere to design specifications and customer requirements.
  • Document and report any quality issues or deviations from standards to the Quality Control Supervisor for further evaluation and corrective action.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed records and documentation of quality control activities and findings.
  • Fit all garments on their appropriate mannequins to ensure there ae no botched lines or factory errors before signing the QC for approval of each individual garment either from the internal or external factory
  • Follow established quality control procedures and protocols to maintain consistency and accuracy in inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth coordination and resolution of quality-related issues.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tailoring techniques, materials, and embellishments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with quality control documentation and record-keeping.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
