We are looking for a
highly competent Finance & Admin Officer to manage and oversee all financial and administrative operations of our Port Harcourt office. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, smooth administrative processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while supporting overall organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records including bookkeeping, ledger entries, and expense tracking
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Monitor cash flow, reconcile accounts, and manage company bank accounts
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Coordinate payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory deductions
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow
  • Maintain staff records, attendance, and leave management
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and facility management
  • Manage office procurement, supplies, and logistics
  • Support HR-related functions including onboarding, staff welfare, and compliance with company policies
  • Implement and enforce organizational policies and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years experience in finance and administration, preferably in corporate or multi-sector environments
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Peachtree, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting principles
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
