Job summary
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-orientated senior accountant (cost & financial) to oversee both cost accounting for our product lines and financial accounting for all business operations. This role requires managing unit economics, inventory, financial reporting, and overall business performance with precision and insight.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Cost Accounting (Product Lines):
- Develop and maintain unit cost structures
- Analyse COGS and production variances.
- Manage inventory costing and valuation
- Collaborate with production and procurement.
- Support pricing strategies; prepare product-level profitability reports.
Financial Accounting (All Brands):
- Prepare financial statements.
- Manage daily accounting operations.
- Track revenue and expenses;
- Develop budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure tax and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records.
Accounting Systems:
- Xero accounting software.
- ERP Next,
- QuickBooks.
- Candidate must be comfortable working across multiple accounting systems.
Business & Strategic Support:
- Provide insights into profitability and cost control.
- Analyze performance across product and salon operations
- Support decision-making with financial data.
- Implement financial controls and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost and financial accounting;
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, CPA).
- Experience in beauty, retail, or salon businesses; experience in a growing or founder-led environment.

Remuneration: NGN 500,000-800,000 net
