Job Summary
Farmgistics Nig is a 30000-capacity bird poultry farm with Layers Hen and DOC combined in Ngor Okpala,Owerri, Imo. We are looking for a Full-Time on-site Farm Manager with a rich and in-depth experience in DOC chick brooding and Egg Production. As challenging as the job demands, we want a motivated and goal-driven person.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- The Farm Manager supervises the day-to-day activities in the farm
- Ensuring that the best brooding method that guarantees optimal result is employed
- Setting of weekly activities, budgetary and production target
- Responsible for hiring of staff and carrying out disciplinary actions on staff.
- Keeping records of livestock and financial records.
- Carrying out routine health checks and ensuring a proper vaccination scheme is in check for the livestock.
- Ensure the farm is profitable and meets the projected financial target.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or any other related field
- Extensive 3 - 6 years of experience in chick brooding, Egg production, and other poultry-related fields
- Problem-solving orientated, logical and Sophisticated reasoning
- Must have knowledge of the most effective method to prevent and control livestock disease and pest
- Ability to budget and maintain accurate financial records and also able to work and produce results within a stipulated time
- Must be computer literate and must have knowledge on how to use excel for financial records.
