Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, field-savvy, and dynamic Project Coordinator/Farm Manager to oversee the implementation of a grant-funded farmer development initiative supporting cassava farmers in Oyo State. The successful candidate will coordinate farmer mobilization, training activities and farm input distribution.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Implementation
- Lead the planning and day-to-day implementation of project activities across identified clusters.
- Coordinate with community leaders and cooperatives for farmer identification and onboarding.
- Supervise the timely delivery of inputs (cassava cuttings, fertilizers, etc.) and services to beneficiaries.
- Ensure full adoption of good agronomic practices among farmers through regular site visits and demonstrations.
Training & Extension Support
- Facilitate training sessions in collaboration with extension officers and agronomists on:
- Climate-smart cassava cultivation
- Enterprise and financial literacy
- Schedule farm production activities
- Post-harvest handling
- Monitor farmer adoption of practices and provide follow-up technical support.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Collect and maintain accurate field data on farm activities, yield performance, and input usage.
- Track KPIs related to yield increase, income growth, and grant recovery.
- Work with M&E personnel to ensure timely reporting, success stories, and lesson documentation.
Market Linkage & Grant Recovery
- Support off-taker engagement and oversee collection points for harvested cassava.
- Coordinate with VSLAs/cooperatives to track grant recovery (revolving model).
- Ensure accurate produce aggregation and recovery documentation per farmer.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
