Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks safely and efficiently to deliver goods across assigned routes within Nigeria.
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and maintain delivery schedules.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team regarding routes, delays, or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and handle goods with care.
- Keep detailed logs of working hours, vehicle service, and trip reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND, HND, B.Sc., or MBA.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of nationwide routes.
- Valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Valid references and a clean driving record.
- Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and time management.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
