Role Description
The Event Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that align with organizational goals. Daily tasks include managing event logistics, budgeting, and vendor coordination, as well as overseeing event promotion, registration, and attendee engagement. The Event Manager will ensure events are executed seamlessly while maintaining high levels of organization and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Event Planning, Coordination, and Execution, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong skills in Budget Management, Vendor Negotiations, and Logistical Planning.
- Proficiency in Event Marketing, Promotion Strategies, and Social Media Management.
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational Skills.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills to address challenges quickly and effectively.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the consulting or startup industry is an added advantage.
