Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely driving and maneuvering the assigned vehicle.
• Delivering goods, transporting passengers, or moving materials as required.
• Following established routes or planning efficient routes to destinations.
• Performing basic vehicle checks (e.g., tires, lights, fluids) and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Assisting with or independently loading and unloading cargo or passengers safely.
• Maintaining logs of mileage, deliveries, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
• Communicating with dispatch, customers, or passengers in a professional manner.
• Following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Processing delivery paperwork, collecting signatures, or handling payments as needed.
• Knowing and following procedures in case of accidents or emergencies.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License: Specifying the class of license required (e.g., Class C, Class B, Class A).
• Clean Driving Record: A history of safe driving with minimal violations.
• Experience: Specifying the amount and type of driving experience preferred or required.
• Knowledge of Traffic Laws: A thorough understanding of local and national traffic regulations.
• Navigation Skills: Ability to read maps, use GPS devices, and navigate effectively.
• Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
