Driver

Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely to transport passengers, goods, or equipment to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
• Load, unload, and inspect cargo to ensure it is secure and in good condition.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance, such as checking oil, water, brakes, and tires.
• Report any mechanical issues or vehicle defects to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Assist passengers with luggage and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Handle delivery documentation, invoices, or delivery notes as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (appropriate for vehicle type) with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to operate different types of vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, trucks, or buses, depending on company needs).
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical fitness for lifting and loading goods if needed.
