- Proven experience as a cobbler or shoe repair specialist
- Skilled in repairing, stitching, and finishing leather products
- Ability to use hand tools and repair machinery
- Knowledge of different materials such as leather, rubber, and synthetic fabrics
- Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

- Physical stamina and the ability to work with the hands for long periods
