Job summary
The Welder or Reber worker is responsible for joining metal parts using welding equipment and techniques to fabricate or repair structures and components. The role ensures that welding work is completed safely, accurately, and according to technical specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations using appropriate welding techniques and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Cut and join metals and other materials using welding tools
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects
- Repair metal structures, equipment, and components when required
- Ensure proper alignment and fitting of parts before welding
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE)
- Cutting and preparing reber and surpervising on site reber tying.
- Work with engineers and other construction team members when required
Requirements;
- Vocational training or certification in Welding or Metal Fabrication
- Proven experience as a welder
- Knowledge of welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Physical strength and the ability to work in a workshop or construction environment
- Understanding of safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
