Role Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and analyzing financial data for decision-making. The CFO will work closely with other executive leadership to develop budgets, analyze investment opportunities, and guide the company toward sustainable growth. Additional responsibilities include managing financial risks, optimizing the company’s financial structure, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience and expertise in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Strategic Financial Management
• Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Forecasting, and Risk Management
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and corporate governance practices
• Experience with Investment Analysis and Business Growth Strategies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an advanced degree or CPA/CA certification is a strong advantage
• Proven track record as a CFO or in a senior financial management role
• Experience in a tech-driven or e-commerce environment, along with familiarity with African markets, is a plus
