We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and positively driven Business Manager to join our team. The ideal individual will be a strategic thinker, have a strong business acumen, a track record of excellent performance (in fashion business strategy) and leadership, a track record of driving business growth and a firm understanding of the business

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain proper working structure within the organization
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability and increase brand awareness
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth running of the business including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain management
  • Prepare periodic business reports and detailed business plans that cover relevant goals and objectives.
  • Identify sales leads, pitch products and communicate same to prospective clients and partners
  • Oversee sales and inventory management, working closely with the sales team to optimize product assortment and maximize sell-through.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Perform Human Resources duties to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to measure success and identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze market trends, luxury consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion
  • Identify bottlenecks in the growth of the company.
  • Devise strategic plans to expand sales
  • Design and implement strategic plans that expand company’s base and ensure its strong industry presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, retailers, partners, customers and industry players.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, prepare and oversee budgets, and ensure profitability
  • Develop and leverage the company’s branding and professional profile
  • Perform root cause analysis of potential problems and provide effective resolutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals to ensure business objectives, high performance and productivit
  • Develop and deliver pitches and proposals for potential/existing clients
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the business, making recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Manage and optimize product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Attend workshops, trade fairs and other industry events
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies in the workplac
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and ensure compliance.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business management, preferably in the premium/luxury fashion space.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer preferences
  • Excellent ability to interpret data to drive business decisions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadline
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Familiarity with retail and e-commerce operations, including inventory management and merchandising
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the fashion industry
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong network of contacts within the fashion retail sector.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in various MS Office and business management software
  • Passion for luxury fashion and a deep understanding of consumer preferences and market dynamics.
