Job Summary

Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for executing the sales strategy of LCNL (group) with the ultimate objective of maximizing revenues across all revenue generating outlets to include overnight, day pass, retreats and private events, and food and beverage. Areas of focus include sales strategy, marketing and bookings. Degree in finance/accounting or related 5 years of relevant work experience Ability to work with many other teams or individuals to resolve financial issues. Meticulous attention to detail with impeccable organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement the overall sales and marketing plan for the resort and actively monitor its progress in terms of achieving KPI’s, budgets and revenues.
  • Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Conducts daily sales calls, use of email and WhatsApp.
  • Liaise with the General Manager / Managing
  • Partner to adopt pricing strategies across the three key business units.
  • Build-on and develop / re-establish relationship with our current clients.
  • Analyze current markets and identify new markets and potential clients.
  • Organize site inspections and familiarization trips in conjunction with the on-site resort team.
  • Manage the number and performance of third party and promotional websites and liaise with providers in ensuring optimization of the resort’s online (and offline) position.
  • Proactively monitor the resort’s profile on the various social media platforms and ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion.
  • Liaise with our Digital Team in managing the content of groups’ various websites.
  • Collaborate on all promotional collateral from copyright through to design and print and ensure that it is in line with company branding.
  • Ensure in house promotional material is current, effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotions.
  • Manage the guest database and ensure that client’s details are accurate and UpToDate.
  • Manage all agent/ partner/ prospect databases
  • Ensure that all client correspondence is tracked and recorded, including quotations and contracts.
  • Represent the resort at consumer trade fairs, mall promotions and tourism events.
  • Submit weekly activity reports to the General Manager / Managing Partners.
  • Lead and develop colleagues by coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Encourage positive working relations with all departments by regular communications and feedback.


Requirements:

  • Degree in any related field 
  • 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work with many other teams or individuals to resolve financial issues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with impeccable organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
