Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth for our A2P SMS services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Nigerian telecommunications industry, a proven track record in sales and business development

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the A2P SMS market.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mobile network operators, aggregators, and enterprise clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and expand the network


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the telecommunications or IT industry, preferably in A2P SMS services.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian telecommunications market and regulatory environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
