Business Development Manager
Job summary
We are seeking 4x strategic and results-driven Business Development Managers to lead revenue growth initiatives and drive high-value partnerships. This role requires a commercially savvy professional with deep expertise in identifying new business opportunities, negotiating large-scale deals, and nurturing long-term client relationships. You will play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth strategy and expanding its presence in new and existing markets.

- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets, verticals, or regions.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead high-impact sales and partnership negotiations, from pitch to contract closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, finance, legal) to design tailored proposals and go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Track and report performance against KPIs, sales forecasts, and pipeline metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Mentor and support junior team members in business development and relationship management activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 6–10 years of business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnership experience.
- CRM tools and business intelligence software: 6 years (Required)
- B2B or enterprise-level deal-making: 6 years (Required)
- Oil and Gas, IT, E-commerce, Hospitality or Real Estate: 6 years (Required)
- Building business cases, pricing models, ROI forecasts: 6 years (Required)
- License/Certification: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) (Required)
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales or revenue targets.
- Strong network within [industry-specific, e.g., tech, fintech, logistics, B2B SaaS, etc.] is a plus.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to build persuasive business cases.
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Apollo, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales performance dashboards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and cross-functional environment.
