The organization handles end-to-end engineering, building, and infrastructure projects across multiple locations in Nigeria, delivering high-quality commercial and industrial construction solutions.

Job Summary

The Builder will be responsible for executing and supervising building works on various construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves interpreting drawings, coordinating site activities, and ensuring proper workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to execute accurate building works.
• Supervise and participate in construction activities including blockwork, concreting, formwork, carpentry, masonry, roofing, plastering, and finishing.
• Coordinate the work of artisans, technicians, and labourers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Inspect and monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist in preparing construction schedules and work plans.
• Identify and escalate technical or structural issues to Site Engineers or Supervisors.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure adherence to all site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily records of work progress, material usage, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure proper site organization, storage, and housekeeping.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and material lists when required.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, contractors, and other construction professionals.

 Requirements & Qualifications

• HND/B.Sc. in Building Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ practical experience in building construction, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
• CORBON membership is an added advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of building processes, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Excellent supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Nigerian building codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and across multiple sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work in different parts of Nigeria.
