Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will handle records, reports, expenditure tracking, and regulatory compliance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for all departments.
Monitor day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and expenses.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure up-to-date reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage cash flow, budget tracking, and financial forecasting.
Handle tax computation, and filing, and ensure statutory compliance.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Liaise with store managers, inventory officers, and cross-checkers to verify transactions and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in implementing financial controls and best practices across operations.

Requirements:

BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or FMCG.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Google sheet, POS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Use of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Google Sheets POS)
