Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Handle daily accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Monitor income, expenses, and cash flow activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Support audit processes and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of financial records.
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles.
• ICAN Certified Accountant or ICAN Student Member (Mandatory Advantage).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to candidates who:
• Live around Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Ajah, or nearby Lagos Island locations.
  
• Can easily commute to Lekki daily.
  
• Have ICAN certification or are actively pursuing ICAN qualification.
  
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

Remuneration:  NGN 250,000 – 300,000
