Web and Graphics Designer

Responsibilities:

Visual design:

• Design and develop user-friendly websites, landing pages, and mobile applications
• Create graphics, logos, icons, and other visual elements for digital platforms
• Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing materials
• Collaborate with the content team to create engaging visual content for social media
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Web design and UX

• Produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final responsive page layouts for desktop and mobile focusing on usability and conversion

Front-end implementation

• Convert designs into HTML/CSS and integrate with CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Drupal, etc.) or hand off production-ready assets to developers. Basic JavaScript interactions as required.

Asset production

• Prepare optimized images, SVGs, style guides, and media for web and print
• Ensure correct formats, resolutions, and compression.

Brand consistency

• Maintain and update brand guidelines
• Ensure consistency across site pages, page layouts, logos, etc.

Collaboration

• Work with marketing, product, copywriters, and developers to align design with business objectives and technical constraints.

Project management:

• Estimate tasks, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain documentation of design decisions.
• Manage and optimize pre-existing managed hotels’ social media accounts and new ones

Trouble shooting:

• Resolve technical issues as regards to website, email, and system set up, maintenance, upgrade
• Fix UI inconsistencies and visual bugs.

Continuous improvement

• Stay current with design and web trends
• Propose improvements for UX, conversion, and site architecture.
