Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and guide them to their tables
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and courteously
- Ensure tables are clean, set properly, and well-maintained throughout service
- Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints professionally
- Assist in preparing the dining area before opening and after closing
- Process bills and handle cash or electronic payments accurately
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE; additional hospitality training is an advantage
- Previous experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-service oriented, friendly, and professional
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and bills
