Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and attend to customers promptly and courteously.
• Present menus and provide information about available meals, drinks, specials and promotions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar departments.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Ensure customers receive the correct orders according to their requests.
• Monitor customers' needs during their stay and attend to additional requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of tables, chairs and dining areas.
• Prepare tables before customers arrive and clear tables after service.
• Present bills to customers and process payments where required.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and report unresolved issues to the supervisor.
• Promote special meals, drinks and other restaurant offerings to customers.
• Ensure proper handling of plates, glasses, cutlery and other service equipment.
• Follow established hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders and other service personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Report damaged equipment, customer feedback and operational challenges to the supervisor.
• Ensure customers leave satisfied and are encouraged to return.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience
  
• A minimum of SSCE
