Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Present menus and make knowledgeable meal recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of dining tables.
- Process payments and provide correct billing information when required.
- Assist in setting up restaurant space for daily operations and special events.
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is an advantage, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must reside within the Lekki-Ajah axis for easy commuting.
- Professional grooming and hygiene.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
