Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Be the front-liner of food and beverage and customer service
- Attend to customers; greet and welcome them in a positive and friendly manner upon entrance, and bid them goodbye in the same way
- Answer guests/customers’ inquiries about the restaurant’s products and services
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and other co-waiters, constantly reminding them of the customers waiting to be served and ensuring that all customers’ needs are met satisfactorily
- Adopt a positive approach in dealing with customer complaints and concerns
- Answer customer questions regarding the menu and make recommendations when necessary
- Set the table and serve the meals professionally
- Manage the flow of customers to the eating area and provide proper wait lines during busy periods
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an SSCE certificate is required
- At least 1 year of working experience as a waitress or in a similar role
