Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests professionally, present menus, explain specials, and guide guests on food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate orders using the approved POS or order pads and communicate them clearly to the bar and kitchen teams.
- Serve food and drinks to Kalina's presentation standards, checking quality, timing, table setup, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain clean, polished, and fully prepared stations, including side stands, cutlery, glassware, and condiment setup.
- Handle guest concerns calmly and escalate issues promptly where required.
- Process bills correctly, follow cash handling rules, and ensure tables are reset quickly after use.
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality service experience preferred.
- Strong grooming, poise, communication, and guest service etiquette.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak periods while remaining courteous and detail-oriented.
- Basic numeracy and confidence with POS systems or order-taking processes.
- Minimum of HND
