Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and attend to customers professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve orders promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Recommend menu items and upsell where appropriate.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas.
- Process bills and confirm payments before customers leave.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for efficient service.
- Maintain proper hygiene, grooming, and appearance standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma) qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar hospitality/customer service role.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is an added advantage.
- Proximity to Lekki Phase 1 is an added advantage.
