Techrity is a non-profit that aims to bridge the gap in unemployment, gender inclusion and poverty by providing the vital resources needed to kickstart young talents into tech and build solutions for SDGs in Africa. We achieve this by providing vital resources such as laptop, browsing data, mentorship support, and inspire innovators and builders through our build4socialgood hackathon and incubation programme.
Why Techrity
According to Quartz Africa, The African continent is the fastest-growing continent for developers globally, But this Large population of young and inexperienced coders require upskilling and education opportunities to boost their capabilities.

Techrity is on a mission to bridge the digital divide, gap in unemployment and foster innovations in Africa by kickstarting talents into tech with vital resources and building solutions for social good.
Talent Development
The kickstart programme is aimed at providing beginners and developers who learn programming with their phones or who are hindered by browsing data to access these vital resources such as providing personal laptop, internet browsing data, and Mentorship support needed to grow and sustain their careers in Tech. We are bridging this digital divide by providing 10, 000 Africans with internet browsing data in 10years, we believe this will go a long way to foster innovation in R&D and technology.
Social Innovations
The Build4SocialGood program is aimed to promote social innovation by bringing together innovators, thinkers and builders to ideate around these local African challenges and build solutions to tackle them, this program is aimed at encouraging Africans to innovate more in R&D in technology.

We seek a volunteer Community manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in community growth and promotional events, we would like to meet you.
Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ and have the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of Techrity and manage all community communications.
Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Community Building and Engagement
  • Developing and implementing strategies to grow and engage the community.
  • Creating and curating engaging content (text, images, videos) across community channels.
  • Moderating discussions, responding to comments and inquiries, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Organizing and managing events (online and offline) to foster community interaction and Techrity awareness.
  • Monitoring community feedback and addressing concerns promptly.
• Relationship Management
  • Building and maintaining relationships with community members, industry professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Acting as the voice of Techrity and representing the community's interests internally.
  • Connecting community members with each other and fostering a sense of belonging.
• Content Strategy and Management
  • Developing and executing content plans.
  • Creating engaging content that aligns with Techrity voice and goals.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Monitoring and analyzing community engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, etc.).
  • Tracking website traffic and other relevant data to assess the effectiveness of community initiatives.
  • Providing regular reports to management and stakeholders on community performance.
• Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborating with other teams to align community efforts with overall Techrity goals.
  • Communicating community feedback and insights to relevant teams.
  • Staying up-to-date on digital trends and best practices
