Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant Tutor to train and mentor students in becoming job-ready virtual assistants. The tutor will deliver practical lessons, guide students through real-world VA tasks and support learners in building professional remote work skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live and/or self-paced Virtual Assistant training sessions
- Teach core VA skills including: Administrative support, Email and calendar management, Internet research, Customer support, Document management, Communication skills, Productivity tools and Remote work best practices
- Create practical assignments, exercises and assessments
- Review student work and provide constructive feedback
- Guide students on building portfolios and preparing for VA opportunities
- Stay updated with current VA tools and industry trends
- Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or VA trainer
- Strong knowledge of tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion, Trello, Slack, Canva, etc.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Ability to simplify concepts for beginners
