Videographer & Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Capture private and public moments of the company and footage for news, advertisements, articles, magazines, and books.
• Meet with clients, outline the details of the project (including timetables, budgets, and the subject of the videos)
• Determine what equipment they will need (cameras, ISO settings, F-stop, lenses, and lighting equipment).
• Determine the filters, camera angles, and framing techniques that will best suit each task
• Do some pre-production work (such as drafting and reading scripts and making a list of necessary shots).
• Utilizing databases to store each shot of a film (especially those caught on multiple cameras)
• Cut segments to fit the larger production, bringing the footage together into a kind of story and into a coherent order, etc.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of the different cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment suitable for particular jobs.
• High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package and CorelDRAW.
• Excellent skills to work with various video editing software programs, such as Adobe, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Filmora, Premiere Pro cc, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, etc.
• Familiar with special effects, 3D, and animations.
• Ability to edit long lengths of raw footage, sequence clips properly, input music, graphics, effects, dialogue, etc.
• BSC/HND holder.
• Must reside in Lagos and be ready to travel at short notice.
