Responsibilities:

Construct, assemble, and install wooden furniture frames for chairs, sofas, beds, stools, tables, and other furniture.
Upholster new furniture using fabric, leather, vinyl, foam, and other approved materials.
Repair and restore damaged furniture, including replacing broken wood components, springs, cushions, and upholstery.
Re-cover worn or damaged furniture while maintaining high finishing standards.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and upholstery materials accurately.
Replace worn-out foam, webbing, springs, and padding where necessary.
Operate woodworking and upholstery equipment safely and efficiently.
Sand, polish, stain, paint, or varnish furniture as required.
Carry out routine maintenance of furniture throughout the hotel or company premises.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Recommend materials and repairs that improve the durability and appearance of furniture.
Maintain tools, machines, and equipment in good working condition.
Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Monitor material usage and report shortages or damaged materials promptly.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
Work closely with the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Facilities teams to ensure furniture remains in excellent condition.
Perform any other carpentry or upholstery-related duties assigned by management.
