Job Summary
Our client, an oil servicing company, is looking to recruit truck drivers and assistants with good knowledge of the Kogi, Kaduna, and Kano routes. The suitable candidate must be well-mannered, articulate, understand road signs, and will be required to resume immediately.
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
- Reporting defects, accidents, and violations
- Performing daily maintenance of the truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
- Recording cargo deliveries
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
- Minimum of High school (S.S.C.E) certificate.
- Good knowledge of specified routes
- Must possess a class ‘G’ driving license.
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Possess a valid driving licence
- Must reside in Kaduna or Kano
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 170,000
