A private security company at Golden Spring Estate, near Sunny Vale Estate, Lokogoma seeks for a male training officer responsible for implementing comprehensive training programs for all security guards and applicants. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and implement training programmes for security personnel to improve their knowledge, skills, and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct induction and orientation training for newly recruited security officers on company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Train security personnel in access control, patrol procedures, surveillance, incident reporting, and emergency response.
- Organise training sessions on conflict resolution, crowd control, customer service, and professional conduct.
- Provide instruction on security protocols, risk assessment, threat identification, and crime prevention.
- Conduct physical fitness, defensive tactics, and safety training where applicable and within legal requirements.
- Assess the training needs of security personnel and develop programmes to address identified skill gaps.
- Monitor and evaluate trainees' performance through practical exercises, assessments, and periodic competency checks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- Ability to type reports fluently is compulsory.
