Job Summary

We are looking for a training manager who will be responsible for handling our company's training and research department. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all training requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Some of your responsibilities include submitting training deliverables, preparing progress reports, and establishing effective training, while communicating plans as well as the proper execution of said plans. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience and achievement in learning and development/training management, curriculum structuring, and the ability to lead training teams from different departments. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Review participant development needs and prepare/implement learning strategies and programs.
  • Organize one on one training, e-learning courses, workshop, and other training.
  • Oversee budgets and negotiate contracts.
  • Organize training activities, and deploy different kinds of learning methods in line with organizational developmental needs.
  • Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training.
  • Communicate with management, trainers, and participant to ensure that all needs are met.
  • Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary.
  • Searching for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity in participate


Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in engineering/quantity surveyor field
  • Minimum experience of 5 years
  • Familiarity with modern and traditional training methodologies
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced database and record-keeping skills
  • Budget management experience.
  • Technology Savvy


Remuneration: NGN 250,000 monthly gross
