Trainee Community Engagement Officer
Job summary
As a Trainee Community Engagement Officer, you will learn to support initiatives that strengthen community connections and foster active participation. Through on-the-job training and mentorship, you’ll develop the skills needed to build relationships, organize events, and promote our work within the community. The training is for 12 months.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering community events, workshops, and outreach
- activities.
- Help build relationships with local groups, organizations, and stakeholders.
- Support communication efforts, including social media posts, newsletters, and
- community updates.
- Collect and analyze community feedback to improve engagement strategies.
- Represent the organization at events and meetings as needed.
- Contribute to the evaluation and reporting of community engagement activities.
- Staff the learning center for 20 hours a week, including 4 hours on Saturdays
Requirements:
- Minimum OND
- 0-1 year of previous experience in a similar role
