Job Summary
Our client, a logistics and haulage company, is seeking an experienced truck/trailer driver to operate heavy-duty vehicles for the safe and timely transportation of goods across designated routes.
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks or trailers to transport goods to assigned destinations.
- Conduct routine checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report faults.
- Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company driving policies.
- Ensure timely delivery and proper documentation of transported materials.
- Load and unload cargo safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and trip logs.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Nigerian driver’s license (Class G or appropriate for heavy vehicles).
- Minimum of High school (S.S.C.E)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a truck or trailer driver.
- Good knowledge of inter-state routes and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Physically fit, responsible, and able to work flexible hours.
- Strong safety awareness and reliability are essential.
