Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage export and import operations to ensure compliance with trade laws.
- Negotiate international trade agreements and partnerships.
- Oversee logistics, customs clearance, and cross-border supply chain operations.
- Develop strategies to expand the company’s market presence globally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, distributors, and trade partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in foreign trade, export management, or international sales.
- Knowledge of export regulations, customs clearance, and trade finance instruments.
- Proven track record in negotiating trade deals and managing distributors.
- Strong understanding of African trade agreements (e.g., AfCFTA).
- Excellent communication skills in English (French or other languages are an advantage).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
