Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled Toolroom Machinist who can confidently operate lathe and milling machines for tool and part fabrication.
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : Entry level
- Experience Length : 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled (CNC) machine tools like lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project specifications, tolerances, and dimensions.
- Fabricate, repair, and service precision parts, tools, and dies according to job requirements.
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and test completed products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
- Maintain machinery and keep the work area clean and safe.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- May be involved in managing tool inventory and distribution.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or Technical Certificate
- At least 2 years’ hands-on experience operating lathe and milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and focus on precision Knowledge of machine maintenance and safety procedures
