Role Description
- Develop and execute strategic telesales plans to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Work in collaboration with the telesales team to improve performance, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Make daily call volumes, sales conversions, and lead management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop campaigns and refine call scripts that align with business goals.
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and trends, identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform sales approaches and product positioning.
- Ensure that all telesales activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, particularly regarding data protection and financial promotions.
- Manage CRM systems to ensure accurate lead tracking, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Drive initiatives for lead generation, follow-up prioritization, and conversion optimization.
- Coordinate closely with client services and operations to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
- Handle escalated client issues and complex sales queries, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit performance reports and recommendations to senior management monthly and quarterly.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of telesales staff to maintain a high-performing team.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer-centricity within the team.
Competency and Skill Requirements
- Proven experience in managing telesales operations, preferably within the financial services or asset management sector.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling abilities.
- Deep understanding of financial products, investment principles, and the regulatory environment.
- Ability to analyze data and sales metrics to guide decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High degree of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in telesales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of asset management and investment products.
- Relevant certifications in sales, finance, or customer service (e.g., CIS, CFP, or equivalent) are an added advantage
