Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the design, integration, testing, installation, and maintenance of software and hardware systems at our client’s locations. The role is primarily on the field and requires the individual to manage client relationships, and create documents and reports in addition to the primary technical support responsibilities.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, storage devices, power systems, security systems, audio-visual systems, smart home and office systems, and other intelligent building solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues related to the systems above.
  • Updating and maintaining managed systems and networks.
  • Providing technical support to customers and clients.
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of technology solution projects.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.
  • Training other team members on new technologies and systems.
  • Clients and SLA management.
  • Sourcing and procurement of devices and equipment from open market and OEMs value-added resellers


Requirements:

  • The minimum academic qualification of an OND certificate, although HND and BSc holders are also welcome to apply. Priority will be given to current NYSC members seeking a quick advancement opportunity.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative.
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions quickly and correctly too.
  • Documentation and stakeholder management skills as the suitable candidate will be required to work closely with a complex stakeholder group such as Technical Directors, Procurement team, Business Development team, Client’s representatives, and Process Owners from the client’s side.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and validation.
  • Ability to investigate and identify technological and business trends
  • General technical skills ranging from knowledge of basic electricity, computer systems, tools, and equipment handling, and use.
