Job Description/Requirements
- Develop, write, and edit technical reports, project documentation, proposals, manuals, and presentations.
- Gather data and insights from engineers, analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Review technical information to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with organizational or regulatory standards.
- Convert complex technical information into well-structured, readable content for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct research to support report development, including literature reviews, data verification, and benchmarking.
- Create charts, appendices, diagrams, and visual representations of data where needed.
- Ensure all reports follow defined templates, writing standards, formatting guidelines, and documentation best practices.
- Edit and proofread documents for grammar, consistency, and technical accuracy.
- Maintain document version control and manage document repositories.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely submission of all technical documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Communication, Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a technical writer or technical report writer.
- Strong ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and documentation tools.
- Good knowledge and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (engineering, IT, research, construction, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
