Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end fibre deployment: route survey, trenching/ducting, cable laying, splicing, testing, and commissioning.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom sites (power, cooling, shelters, transmission, and access systems)
- Develop project plans, BoQs, schedules, risk registers, and MOP/SOP documentation.
- Coordinate field teams, contractors, and utility providers.
- Ensure quality assurance for splicing, labelling, route markers, and as-built documentation.
- Supervise OTDR testing, link budgeting, and acceptance testing.
- Enforce HSE standards, permits, and right-of-way compliance.
- Monitor SLAs, budgets, timelines, and vendor performance across multiple sites.
- Manage materials, tools, logistics, and inventory control.
- Provide progress, incident, and financial reports to stakeholders.
- Plan capacity upgrades, redundancy paths, and network resilience.
- Lead project handover to operations with complete documentation
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
- A minimum of a degree in a related field.
