Technical Assistant to the Managing Director

Responsibilities:

Executive & Consulting Support:

• Serve as the technical support and advisory arm to the MD on consulting engagements and internal ICT matters.
• Assist the MD in reviewing client technical proposals, solution designs, and project scopes.
• Translate technical concepts into business-focused insights for executive and client discussions.
• Support the MD during client meetings, technical presentations, and solution walkthroughs.

Client Network & Infrastructure Support:

• Assist in the design, review, and implementation of client network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of client network performance and reliability.
• Assist with the configuration and review of routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances across client sites.
• Conduct technical checks and assessments across multiple client environments.

Cybersecurity Consulting & Assurance:

• Support cybersecurity assessments, risk reviews, and vulnerability checks for clients.
• Assist in implementing and validating security controls, access management, and monitoring tools.
• Support incident response activities for clients where required.
• Assist with preparation of cybersecurity reports, recommendations, and executive summaries.
• Support client compliance with applicable data protection and cybersecurity regulations.

Server, Cloud & Systems Support:

• Assist with deployment, configuration, and management of client and internal servers (on-premise and cloud).
• Support Active Directory, identity, and access management for client environments.
• Monitor server health, backups, storage, and system availability.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity support for clients.

Consulting Projects & Technical Delivery:

• Support ICT consulting projects from pre-sales to delivery and post-implementation support.
• Assist in solution testing, validation, and documentation before client deployment.
• Track technical project milestones and provide updates to the MD.
• Support knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.

Documentation, Reporting & Knowledge Management:

• Prepare technical documentation, assessment reports, and executive briefs.
• Maintain system diagrams, configuration records, and security documentation.
• Assist in developing standard templates, SOPs, and technical playbooks for consulting engagements.

Confidentiality, Ethics & Professional Conduct:

• Handle sensitive client and company data with strict confidentiality.
• Uphold professional ethics when dealing with client systems and information.
• Comply with consulting firm policies, client contracts, and NDAs.

Requirements:

• MBA/MSC
• 10 years experience
