Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, cut, and sew female garments according to client specifications
- Take accurate body measurements and provide fitting adjustments
- Create both ready-to-wear and bespoke outfits (casual, corporate, traditional, bridal, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients to recommend styles, fabrics, and finishing details
- Maintain high-quality standards in tailoring and finishing
- Keep the workspace organized and ensure the timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor specializing in female wears
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction
- Ability to interpret fashion sketches and client requests
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Optional: Certification or vocational training in fashion design/tailoring
