Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Take accurate body measurements and use them to design, cut, and sew garments according to style specifications, patterns, or customer preferences.
- Create, alter, and repair clothing pieces with precision, ensuring perfect fit, finishing, and attention to detail in every stitch.
- Collaborate with clients to understand design requirements, recommend suitable fabrics, styles, and accessories, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain sewing machines, tools, and workstations in excellent working condition; promptly report or repair faults to avoid production delays.
- Handle a variety of fabrics and materials skillfully, applying appropriate sewing, pressing, and finishing techniques.
- Ensure all garments are completed within agreed timelines while upholding the highest quality standards.
- Keep records of customer orders, measurements, and delivery schedules for proper tracking and organization.
- Stay updated with fashion trends, tailoring techniques, and modern designs to improve creativity and efficiency in garment production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor or fashion designer.
- Proficiency with sewing machines and fabric types.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Good communication and time management skills
