Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily supermarket activities to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
• Coordinate, assign, and monitor staff duties while ensuring discipline, productivity, and teamwork.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, manage replenishment, and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Monitor sales performance, implement sales strategies, and ensure achievement of sales targets.
• Ensure excellent customer experience, handle complaints professionally, and maintain high service standards.
• Monitor cashier activities, ensure accurate transactions, and oversee daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure proper product arrangement, pricing, shelf display, and adherence to merchandising standards.
• Implement measures to prevent theft, wastage, product damage, and inventory discrepancies.
• Liaise with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure timely stock delivery and replenishment.
• Prepare daily and periodic reports on sales, inventory, staff performance, and store operations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• OND in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in supermarket or retail operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, and retail operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
