Store Supervisor
Job summary
The Store Supervisor is responsible for managing the company’s store, keeping proper records of goods, books, materials, and stock items. The role involves receiving, arranging, issuing, monitoring, and protecting store items to ensure accurate stock control and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:
- Receive goods, books, materials, and supplies delivered to the store.
- Check all items received to confirm quantity, quality, and condition.
- Arrange and label stock properly for easy identification and movement.
- Keep accurate records of items received, issued, returned, and available in stock.
- Issue stock only with proper approval or documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and report items that are low, damaged, missing, or overstocked.
- Conduct regular stock counting and assist in monthly stock-taking.
- Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
- Prevent loss, damage, theft, or careless handling of store items.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly store reports.
- Work with the accounts, production, marketing, and operations departments when stock is needed.
- Ensure proper documentation of goods moved in and out of the store.
- Supervise store assistants or other staff working in the store.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a BSc
- 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
