Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive deliveries, verify quantities and quality against purchase documents, and record stock accurately.
- Organize dry store, beverage store, cleaning supplies, and other stock areas for safe and efficient access.
- Issue stock only against approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation of every movement.
- Track expiry dates, slow-moving items, damaged stock, and stock shortages.
- Maintain clean, labelled, secure, and well-arranged store environments.
- Participate in routine stock counts and support reconciliation exercises.
Requirements:
- Previous storekeeping or inventory handling experience preferred.
- Good record-keeping ability, basic numeracy, and attention to detail.
- Organized, trustworthy, and able to maintain control over stock movement.
- Ability to use stock cards, spreadsheets, or inventory systems.
- Minimum BSC or equivalent.
