We are seeking a highly articulate, organized, and deeply knowledgeable educator to join our Senior Secondary section. The ideal candidate will be solely responsible for preparing our Arts and Commercial students for crucial transition examinations, including WAEC, NECO, and JAMB, across three core subjects: English Language, etc...

Responsibilities:
Curriculum & Lesson Delivery:
- Prepare detailed, standard weekly lesson plans and comprehensive notes of lessons in alignment with the NERDC Curriculum for SS 1–3.
- Deliver highly interactive lessons that masterfully cover the technical aspects of English Language (Lexis & Structure, Orals, Essay Writing, and Comprehension).
- Deeply analyze selected WAEC/NECO drama, prose, and poetry texts for Literature-in-English, guiding students through themes, poetic devices, characterization, and literary techniques.
- Teach Government concepts comprehensively, fostering an understanding of political systems, constitutional development in Nigeria, international relations, and civic structures.
Examination Preparation (Crucial):
- Intentionally coach and prepare final-year students (SS 3) to achieve straight A's and B's in WAEC, NECO, and high scores in UTME (JAMB).
- Implement rigorous past-question review drills, mock assessments, and strategic exam-answering techniques.
Continuous Assessment & Management:
- Administer regular weekly tests, assignments, mid-term tests, and terminal examinations.
- Promptly mark scripts, compute accurate continuous assessment (CA) records, and provide actionable feedback to students.
- Maintain excellent classroom management, enforcing discipline, punctuality, and a serious academic atmosphere.
Administrative & Extracurricular Duties:
- Serve as a form teacher if assigned, tracking attendance and monitoring overall student well-being.
- Actively collaborate with school management on open days, parent-teacher consultations, and inter-house sports or debates.
Requirements:
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with a strong specialization in English, Literature, or Political Science/Government.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Ed., B.A., or B.Sc. with a PGDE) in English Language, Literature, Political Science, or a related Humanities discipline is highly preferred.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage. Professional Experience: ● Minimum of 1–3 years of active teaching experience specifically within a reputable private secondary school environment handling Senior Secondary classes.
- Proven track record of successfully presenting students for WAEC/NECO examinations with verifiable excellent results.

- Excellent command of written and spoken English with flawless diction.
- Ability to break down complex literary texts and abstract political theories into relatable concepts.
- Competency in typing notes, operating basic presentation tools, and calculating marks digitally.
- High emotional intelligence, absolute patience, and exceptional work ethic.
